Patrick
Trudell is a Seattle-area personal injury attorney, serving Washington
State residents. His law practice emphasizes representing injured
people. He has been a lawyer since 1980, and is a partner in
the law firm of Trudell, Bowen, & Lingenbrink, PLLC in Kirkland,
Washington. Patrick Trudell is a member of the Washington State
Bar Association, the Alaska Bar Association, the Washington State
Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Patrick was born and raised in the state of Washington. He received his
undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in 1974. In 1980
he graduated with honors from Gonzaga School of Law. At Gonzaga he was
the Editor-in-Chief of the Gonzaga Law Review.
Patrick took and passed the Washington Bar in 1980. His first law job was
working as a Law Clerk for Chief Judge James A. von der Heydt of the United
States Federal District Court for the District of Alaska. Patrick worked
for Judge von der Heydt as his law clerk from 1980 to 1982. In Alaska, Patrick
took and passed the Alaska Bar exam in 1981. He also published an article
that became the lead article in the UCLA Alaska Law Review.
Patrick returned to Kirkland, Washington where he worked as an Associate
for the law firm of Livengood, Silvernale, Carter and Tjossem. During this
time, Patrick was admitted to practice in the United States Federal District
Court for the District of Western Washington. Patrick started his own law
firm in 1985 in downtown Kirkland. This law firm, Trudell & Bowen, evolved
to the present law firm of Trudell, Bowen, & Lingenbrink, PLLC.
Patrick is active in the community. He has been on the Kirkland American
Little League Board of Directors for over ten years. He is involved with
his son in Washington Jr. Golf. He coached his three children in Little
League for thirteen years. In 2003 he was the coach of his son’s little
league team that won the Kirkland City Championship. He is a youth minister
at his church. He is a volunteer lawyer for Catholic Community Services.
He is on the Board of Advisors for Gonzaga School of Law.
Patrick resides with his wife and children in Kirkland, Washington. He
enjoys family activities, especially walking with his wife, golf with or
without his children, and he is a personal trainer for his daughter who
is a fast pitch softball pitcher.
Patrick has represented hundreds of people during his career in settlement
negotiations, litigation, trials, and appeals. He represents his clients
on a contingency fee basis. Thus, there is no charge for the initial consultation.
If he undertakes the representation of a client, his contingency fee is
paid when the case settles. If there is no recovery, there is no fee.
